Demola Olanrewaju, the Senior Political Adviser to the former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Waziri Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the new date that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC fixed to conduct presidential election.
The reaction of Demola Olanrewaju was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
This is coming after THE CABLE reported that INEC will be conducting the next presidential election on Junuary 17, 2027. The report further stated that the commission also fixed February 6, 2027 as the date for governorship election.
However, Demola Olanrewaju has now shared his thoughts after the report surfaced online. In a post that he shared on his official X handle, he said he hopes that the African Democratic Congress, ADC, has enough time to register members for the election.

“I hope ADC has time to register members, build structure from ward level up, choose candidates all over Nigeria, settle internal disputes, come up with a manifesto and use it to drive oppositional criticism of the APC to sell itself”.See_More…
