According to a video that was posted on the official X account of CHANNELS TV on Saturday, February 28, 2026, the former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Waziri Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the comment that was made by former Kogi lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye after he saw him walking.
In the video that surfaced online, when Atiku Abubakar was walking to the podium to speak, Dino Melaye told the people at the gathering that the former Vice President is still very gallant.

The former Kogi lawmaker said Atiku Abubakar didn’t walk like somebody who wants to fall.
Senator Dino Melaye said that;
“You can see he is walking like a soldier, he is not about fall. He is gallant”.
Reacting to the statement, the former Vice President told Senator Dino Melaye to stop making the comment.
