The Director-General, Comrade Issa Aremu, mni, management and staff of the Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies (MINILS) have “deeply commiserated” with the former President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Ayuba Wabba, over the passing of his father, Late Jidayi Filibus Asarya Wabba.
A condolence message signed by Aremu, said late Jidayi Wabba was a disciplined and patriotic retired military officer who served Nigeria meritoriously for 35 years, as well as a respected community leader. He was known for his service, integrity, and commitment to humanity.
“MINILS acknowledges the immense loss this represents, not only to the Wabba family but also to the community and the nation at large.
“On behalf of the Institute, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Comrade Ayuba Wabba and his family during this difficult time. We pray that the Almighty God grants them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and repose the soul of the departed,” the statement concluded.
