APC e-registration: Nasarawa SSG urges massive participation across wards

By Oboh Linus

Dr Labaran Magaji, Secretary to the Nasarawa State Government, has urged residents of Toto Local Government Area to participate fully in the APC’s ongoing e-registration exercise.

Magaji made the call after completing his own e-registration at the Toto Local Government Secretariat on Friday.

He said the exercise was a nationwide APC initiative that would determine the party’s strength at ward, local, state and national levels.

Magaji said: “The e-registration is a national event organised by our great party, the APC.

“It is expected that every card-carrying member returns to their ward to ensure proper registration.”

He explained that state executive and legislative leaders turned out en masse to educate residents on the importance of the exercise.

Magaji commended the APC-led administration of Gov. Abdullahi Sule for promoting peace and unity in Toto Local Government Area.

He said residents were impressed by infrastructural projects, particularly the Toto–Umaisha Road, executed under the APC government.

“We have resolved to pay a solidarity visit to the governor to show our loyalty and appreciate his good deeds to Toto LGA,” Magaji stated.

Also speaking, Nasarawa APC Secretary, Dr Yarus Dagusa, said e-registration would provide accurate data for effective party planning.

“E-registration helps us know our numbers and strength, enabling proper planning across all zones,” Dagusa explained.

Earlier, Toto Local Government Chairman, Mr Baba-Ahmed Yahaya, thanked residents for the large turnout and pledged a smooth exercise.

“We assure all stakeholders that Toto will set an example in mobilisation and organisation,” Yahaya said.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that stakeholders, including Commissioner of Health, Dr Gaza Gwamna, attended the exercise.

Others present were Assembly members, including Dr Muhammed Maikaya, Mohammed Isimbabi and Ibrahim Abdullahi, representing Toto/Gadabuke and Umaisha/Ugya constituencies. (NAN)
