Annie Macaulay reclaims ‘African Queen’ title after 2baba public praise for Natasha

Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay has subtly reminded her followers of her place in the “African Queen” story, following recent public celebrations of her ex-husband, singer 2Baba Idibia, and his new wife, Natasha Osawaru at a club.

While on holiday in the UK, 2Baba was spotted enjoying cozy night out with Natasha, introducing her as his “African Queen” and the love of his life in a club appearance. The warm declaration, however heartfelt, seemed to stir memories of a title long associated with Annie herself.

Few days later, Annie shared an Instagram story featuring a photo of her daughters and a throw pillow with her own photo and the words ‘African Queen.’

Annie has been seen throwing soft shade lately, particularly towards her ex-husband, 2Baba Idibia.

Their marriage came to an end in January 2025, after 2Baba publicly announced their divorce. He has since begun a new relationship with Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, with whom he is allegedly expecting a child.

Through her understated posts and quiet gestures, Annie keeps the conversation alive, inviting reflection on love, legacy, and the personal crowns we each hold, regardless of life’s changing circumstances.
