Anele Decorates Newly Promoted Soldiers, Commends COAS for Sustained Support to DAPR‎‎‎

‎The Acting Director of the Directorate of Army Public Relations (DAPR), Lieutenant Colonel Appolonia Anele, on Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, decorated eight newly promoted soldiers at the Directorate’s Headquarters in Abuja.

‎Lt. Col. Anele, while congratulating the beneficiaries, charged them to remain steadfast, disciplined and committed to excellence in the discharge of their duties.

‎She said the promotions, which were based on diligence and outstanding performance, would further strengthen the Directorate and enhance the public image of the Nigerian Army.

‎The Acting Director explained that the elevation of the soldiers was in line with the Nigerian Army’s policy of motivating personnel and reinforcing operational efficiency across formations and units.

‎She expressed appreciation to the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, for his continuous support to the Directorate and commitment to personnel welfare.

‎According to her, “the gesture clearly reflects the determination of the Nigerian Army leadership to reward excellence and inspire higher performance.”

‎Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Warrant Officer Mohammed Hassan thanked God and the Army leadership for the opportunity, pledging to justify the confidence reposed in them through renewed dedication to duty.
