Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sweetspirit Hotels Ltd and Dezachi Group of Companies, Arc. (Dcn) Ambby Odezi Okuhor FNIA, has congratulated Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections.
Arc. Okuhor also extended congratulations to other APC candidates who emerged from the party’s primaries across Delta State, describing their victories as a reflection of the party’s growing acceptance and internal cohesion.
In his message, he congratulated Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa – APC Delta North Senatorial Candidate , Joel-Onowakpo Thomas – APC Delta South Senatorial Candidate , Sen. Ede Dafinone – APC Delta Central Senatorial Candidate , Engr. Orobosa Ashakah – APC House of Assembly Candidate, Isoko North Constituency , Mr. Lucky Idhoveh – APC House of Assembly Candidate, Isoko South Constituency I and Hon. Ferguson Onwo – APC House of Assembly Candidate, Isoko South Constituency II .
“The peaceful conduct of the primaries and the emergence of these candidates show that the APC in Delta State is united and ready to serve the people,” Arc. Okuhor said.
“Governor Oborevwori’s leadership and the calibre of candidates across the senatorial and assembly seats give the party a strong platform to deliver on its promises to Deltans.”
He noted that the mix of experienced and new candidates positions the APC to address key issues of development, infrastructure, youth empowerment, and economic growth across the state.
Arc. Okuhor called on party faithful and supporters to close ranks behind all APC candidates and work towards a peaceful and successful campaign in 2027.
He added that continuity in governance, backed by a strong legislative team, would accelerate the delivery of democratic dividends to communities across Delta.
“At Sweetspirit Hotels and the Dezachi Group, we believe that a stable political environment is essential for business growth and investment.
We are optimistic that the APC team will provide that stability and create more opportunities for Deltans,” he stated.
He prayed for wisdom, strength, and success for all the candidates as they prepare for the general elections.
