His Royal Highness, Mujahid Asari Dokubo, the Amayanabo of Torusarama Piri (Elem Kalabari) in Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State, has denied responsibility for a viral video circulating on social media, clarifying that the statement was made by another individual.
Dokubo made the clarification during a live video broadcast shared on his official Facebook page on Thursday, March 26, 2026, while responding to reactions linking him to comments directed at President Bola Tinubu.
Addressing the issue, Dokubo stated, “When you ate somebody, every day you see, you think it is that person who was you ate the person. And when I say it with people, when you ate me, I will eat you back. When you want to kill me, I will kill you back. I have no apology.”
He added that he does not initiate confrontations but responds when provoked. According to him, “I never initiated the fight. It is you people that initiated the fight. When I touch you, you will start to play the victim.”
Dokubo further explained that he had received multiple inquiries regarding the video. He said, “All of a sudden, a lot of people have been calling me, you did a video against President Tinubu. Which one is this?”
Clarifying his position, he stated, “So my brother, because we are all big, but he is bigger than me. Theophilus big pass me. Himself know.”
He attributed the video to another individual, adding, “He did a video, Tinubu go surrender. Nah me they tell you, you know fit fight oo. They think it was me, but your eyes are deceiving you. It is not me.”
Dokubo maintained that if he had made such remarks, he would have done so directly. He said, “If it is me, I will state my own thing my own way. It is my brother Theophilus.”
