Airstrikes Hit Iranian Missile Sites, Security Centers: Israel Military

Israel’s military has carried out airstrikes on targets in central Iran, marking the first attack since Mojtaba Khamenei was named the Islamic Republic’s new supreme leader.

The Israeli Air Force struck internal security command centres, missile launch sites, and a rocket engine production facility, targeting infrastructure it says threatened Israel. Facilities used by the Revolutionary Guards and the paramilitary Basij force, including a police headquarters in Isfahan, were also hit.

Israel described the attacks as a move to weaken “the core arrays and foundations of the Iranian regime,” noting that the Basij and internal security forces play a key role in suppressing civilians.
