‎The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, has reaffirmed the Nigerian Air Force’s determination to sustain and intensify air operations against insurgents and terrorists.

‎

‎He spoke on Tuesday, during a strategic meeting with Air Component Commanders.

‎

‎Aneke said the meeting was aimed at reviewing ongoing operations, closing gaps and strengthening mission effectiveness.

‎

‎“We must dominate the operational space through superior coordination, innovation and professionalism,” he said.

‎

‎“Every sortie and every mission must move us closer to total security restoration.”

‎

‎The Air Chief said counter-insurgency operations require speed, precision and relentless pressure on hostile elements.

‎

‎He assured that the Air Force would continue to provide overwhelming support to ground forces and joint operations.

‎

‎Commending the commanders and personnel, Aneke praised their courage and discipline under demanding conditions.

‎

‎“Their resilience proves that the Nigerian Air Force is prepared, focused and battle-ready,” he stated.

‎

‎According to him, the achievements recorded so far reflect his philosophy of building a motivated and mission-ready force.

‎

‎However, Aneke warned that the security environment remains dynamic and demands continuous adaptation.

‎

‎He directed commanders to intensify intelligence-led operations, enhance inter-agency cooperation and deploy modern technology.

‎

‎He also stressed the importance of training, aircraft maintenance and logistics support.

‎

‎In a statement signed by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the CAS assured Nigerians of sustained operational momentum.

‎

‎ “The Nigerian Air Force remains vigilant and aggressive against threats,” the statement said.

‎

‎It added that the Air Force would continue to evolve and strengthen partnerships to secure lasting peace.

‎
