Adesua Etomi recounts near-death experience during emergency surgery in UK

Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, has opened up about a near-death experience that occurred in June while she was in the United Kingdom with her husband, Banky W, and their two sons.

The screen diva revealed on Instagram that she underwent an unplanned surgery after what she described as a “horrific incident” that could have claimed her life.

“I could have lost my life in June of this year. The surgery was ironically the least dramatic part of what I went through,” she wrote, expressing deep gratitude to God for sparing her.

The day that changed everything

Adesua shared that the frightening incident took place during a trip to the UK for two speaking engagements. According to her, if any small detail of that day had gone differently, she might not have survived.

She recounted how the experience made her vividly aware of divine intervention, saying she could “trace God’s hands all over the situation.”

The Wedding Party star added that the ordeal has strengthened her faith, saying there is no doubt in her mind that “God is real.”

A renewed sense of purpose

Reflecting on the life-changing experience, Adesua encouraged her fans to embrace kindness, patience, and gratitude in their daily lives.

Let’s be softer, kinder, gentler, forgiving, patient, loving, and peaceful. I will never take another day for granted, neither should you,” she wrote.

The actress, who previously shared her struggles with pregnancy complications and her husband’s battle with cancer, said her trials have taught her to live with purpose and unwavering faith.
