A well-known Nigerian cleric, Primate Ayodele, has expressed his thoughts on the potential outcome of the 2027 presidential election, specifically concerning who might be the candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In a video shared on his Facebook page, the spiritual leader discussed the individuals he thinks are most likely to obtain the party’s nomination and his predictions for the upcoming election.
He indicated that the ADC’s presidential nomination could ultimately be a choice between two significant political figures.
He proposed that the party’s decision might focus on either former Vice President Atiku Abubakar or former President Goodluck Jonathan.
In his statements, he emphasized that he does not believe there is anyone else who is in a strong position to secure the party’s nomination at this time.
Primate Ayodele also commented on rumors regarding the potential participation of other political leaders, especially Peter Obi.
Nevertheless, he suggested that, in his opinion, Obi is not likely to win the presidency in the 2027 election.
“The ADC ticket is between Atiku. If they don’t give Atiku, they bring to Jonathan. I have not seen any other person again. Not Obi. But eventually if Atiku runs they might beg Obi.
