ADC Is DoA. They Want To Run Election Against Tinubu, And By Now They Don’t Have Candidate- Bewaji

In a recent conversation with Nigerian Tribune correspondent, a former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Dr. Wunmi Bewaji, addressed several pressing national concerns, including the rising insecurity, international involvement, and the surge of political defections to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the coalition African Democratic Congress (ADC).

When questioned about whether the coalition African Democratic Congress (ADC) would have a better chance in the 2027 elections, Dr. Bewaji expressed a firm view that the coalition was unlikely to succeed.

He explained that the group faced a major disadvantage, particularly because it had not yet produced a candidate capable of challenging the ruling party.

He said, “I told you the coalition is dead on arrival. You want to run an election against a Bola Tinubu that we know, and by this time you don’t have a candidate, the election is gone.”

He further argued that the 2027 election, in his view, would essentially serve to determine who would come second to Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He suggested that whether it is Peter Obi or Atiku Abubakar, the main contest is about securing the position behind the incumbent, implying that the outcome in favor of the ruling party is already decided and that any effort by the coalition to win would be an uphill battle from the start.See_More…
