The Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI) has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty, Nnaemeka Achebe, CFR, mni, Obi of Onitsha, Agbogidi, on the celebration of the 2025 Ofala Festival.
In a message personally signed by its President, Ambassador Emmanuel Obi Okafor, mni, the association described the Ofala Festival as a time-honoured tradition that reflects the cultural depth, unity, and enduring heritage of the Onitsha Kingdom.
According to AANI, the annual festival also exemplifies the Obi’s exemplary leadership, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the preservation of peace, progress, and tradition — values that align with the mission and ethos of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, and its alumni body.
“Your Majesty’s towering contributions to national development, your role as a member of the Heritage Council of AANI, and your embodiment of excellence, integrity, and patriotism continue to inspire members of the AANI family across all strata of the Nigerian society,” Ambassador Okafor said.
As the monarch and the people of Onitsha celebrate this year’s Ofala, AANI prayed for continued divine wisdom, good health, and strength for the revered traditional ruler in his service to humanity and the nation.
The statement concluded with assurances of the association’s highest esteem and warm regards to the monarch.
