Igbobi College Old Boys Association 1979/ 84-86 set as part of the activities marking its 40th year anniversary has donated a sum of N20m to ICOBA Endowement Fund
The donation was made on Friday by the Board of Trustees of the set led by its Chairman Dr Ayo Abina
Other members of his entourage were Set Chairman Dr Lanre Olusola , former chairmen Tunji Akinwunmi , Abayomi Alabi and a host of others
On hand to receive the donation was the National and Global President of ICOBA Mr Femi Banwo and members of his executive
Otunba Abina informed the audience that the money was realised from savings from the set members over the years based on the ” Self Denial ” philosophy of the college passed from generations to generations
The National President thanked the set for their benevolence

He enjoined other sets to follow the footstep of the 1979/ 84-86 set in giving back to their alma mater
As part of the activities marking the 40th anniversary of the set , a holy communion and thanksgiving service will be held on Sunday 15th December 2024 at Canon Parker Chapel Igbobi College at 11am
This will be followed by a luncheon at Chrisland School Opebi road, Ikeja same day
All members of the set and their spouses will be in attendance
