The Gamji Members Association (GAMA) in Kwara State, has rejoiced with the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji ( Dr) Ibrahim Sulu- Gambari, CFR on his 30th coronation anniversary.
GAMA, an association devoted to the promotion of the ideals of the late Sardauna of Sokoto, Sir Ahmadu Bello congratulated the Emir on the milestone.
In a statement signed by its president general, Alh Mohammed Tunde Akanbi and the director of publicity, Alh Abdullahi Olesin, GAMA expressed delight that the reign of the 11th Emir of Ilorin has been peaceful just like the glorious reign of his father, the ninth Emir, Alhaji Sulukarnaini Gambari.
The association expressed delight that Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State have continued to witness greater development in the last 30 years of Sulu- Gambari’s reign, most especially in the last six years of the administration of the Sardauna of Ilorin, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
GAMA acknowledged the support of all traditional heads and title holders, the Imams and Alfas for the Ilorin Emirate Council which has brought about the peaceful co-existence of the heterogeneous people of Ilorin Emirate.
It prayed Allah to grant Sulu- Gambari many more years, wellness and sound health to enable him continue rendering his good services to Ilorin, Kwara, Nigeria and humanity.
