A young lady has left social media users in stitches after sharing the hilarious reaction she received when she finally replied to a man’s message three years after he first texted her.
In a viral video posted on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, “POV: I opened one Instagram DM after 3 years”, the lady revealed the surprising response she got after sending a simple “Hi.”
The long-awaited reply
According to the clip, she must have seen the message over time but never responded. Eventually, curiosity led her to check her direct messages, where she discovered a text from a man who had written “Hi dear” on 30 January 2022. She decided to reply with just “Hi.”
To her surprise, about three hours later, the man responded with laughter emojis (😂😂) followed by a witty remark that read, “3 years reply.. Me wey don marry 😂.”
