The US Department of State has validated the three pieces of information that foreign nationals must supply to prove their eligibility for the 2026 Diversity Visa lottery program.
The information was made available through the official Electronic Diversity Visa Entrant Status Check portal, which is the designated venue for DV lottery applicants to determine whether they have been selected for further processing toward a US Green Card.

What applicants must submit to check
To view results on the portal, candidates must enter three specified fields:
- Their confirmation number was issued at the time of entrance.
- Their surname or family name exactly as it appears on their initial DV entrance form;
- Their birth year in four-digit format.
After completing all three fields correctly and passing the CAPTCHA authentication stage, candidates can submit their information and view their current status in the program.

The Diversity Visa program is conducted annually by the US Department of State and makes up to 55,000 immigrant cards available to nationals of countries with historically low rates of immigration to the United States.
