Nigerian music legend 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) has taken to social media to announce his new album titled ‘Oldest Young Man’, weeks after a reported confrontation with his wife, Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
The “African Queen” singer, in an Instagram post, shared on his verified account, posted a stylish black-and-white portrait of himself with the caption: “I’ve lived it. I’ve seen it. I’m still here. My new album, OLDEST YOUNG MAN, soon come.”
This announcement comes weeks after the singer and his wife, Osawaru, indulged in a public spat at the opening of 90s Lounge in Abuja in early August.
Natasha had reportedly arrived at the venue seeking to speak with her husband, sparking public drama.
She later confirmed to the media that the pair were experiencing a “marital crisis” but insisted they remained together. 2Baba had earlier addressed the situation on stage, stating he would no longer “look for trouble.”
The timing of the album announcement has fuelled speculation that the project and its resilient message reference both his long career and recent personal challenges. No release date or further details have been revealed.
