Founder of Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, has warned Nigerian youths that they risk death if they attempt to snatch ballot boxes during the 2027 general elections.
Chinyere issued the warning in a video shared on X, saying the era of ballot box snatching should end as Nigerians prepare for the next elections.
He also challenged politicians who allegedly use young people as thugs during elections to bring their own children into the country and involve them in ballot box snatching.
According to the cleric, many politicians send youths to engage in electoral violence while their own children live abroad.
He said Nigerian youths should refuse to allow themselves to be used by politicians, urging them to demand that the children of such politicians participate in the acts they allegedly encourage.
“To all Nigerian youths, in the 2027 election, if you go near any ballot box just to snatch it, you will die.
“The 2027 general elections will no longer be like the previous ones because Nigerians are tired. The era of ballot box snatching is over.
“How long will Nigerians continue to fool themselves and allow politicians to fool them? They have children, and their children are abroad. They should bring their children to snatch ballot boxes for them,” he said.
