Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Otunba Emmanuel Ajisafe Fayose Campaign Organisation has criticised the member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency I in the House of Representatives, Hon. Sola Fatoba, over alleged poor representation and abandoned constituency projects.
Emmanuel Ajisafe Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, is the African Democratic Congress candidate for the Ado-Irepodun/Ifelodun Federal Constituency in the 2027 election.
The campaign organization, through its Head of Media and Publicity and spokesperson, Hon. Oluwabusuyi Olaolurun Richard, also questioned Fatoba’s bid for a third term, urging constituents to assess his performance before deciding whether to return him to the National Assembly.

In a statement issued to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Ekiti State, the organization alleged that some projects and empowerment programs attributed to the lawmaker had either been abandoned or were yet to be executed.
Olaolurun also accused Fatoba of failing to adequately address youth empowerment needs in the constituency, saying constituents deserved more tangible interventions after two terms in office.
“After two terms in office, our people deserve to see tangible projects that directly improve their lives,” he said.
The campaign spokesperson said, in his assessment, that Fatoba’s record did not justify another term, urging voters to scrutinize his performance alongside the programs and capacity of other candidates seeking to represent the constituency.
Olaolurun said the 30th anniversary of Ekiti State offered an opportunity for residents to reflect on the state’s achievements as well as the quality of leadership and representation needed to sustain its development.
He urged voters in Ekiti Central Federal Constituency I, comprising Ado and Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Areas, to support the ADC candidate, Otunba Ajisafe Fayose.
He said, “Let us send a strong representative to Abuja to present our voice.”
Olaolurun added: “Let us stand firm so that we can enjoy the fruits of good governance.”
He urged constituents to base their choice on the records, programs, and capacity of the candidates rather than political sentiments as the 2027 election approaches.
