Acting promptly on valuable intelligence, police operatives carried out a raid on Uwagbogu’s premises near the bustling Effurun Roundabout. The operation led to the seizure of 100 rounds of live 7.62mm ammunition, dealing a substantial blow to the underground firearms market. The successful outcome can be credited to the dedication and proactive approach of the police command, under the leadership of CP Wale Abass.

In a separate incident, the Sapele Division anti-crime patrol intercepted three individuals on an unregistered motorcycle at Amukpe Roundabout, leading to the recovery of two locally made double barrel guns, seven rounds of 7.62 AK47 live ammunition, and eleven live cartridges. The Delta State Police Command remains committed to ensuring justice and maintaining peace in the community.
