When Buhari won the 2015 elections, the expectations were that he was the messiah – Daniel Bwala

Notable member of the People’s Democratic Party and spokesperson of the Atiku/Okowa campaign council, Daniel Bwala has recently described President Buhari’s 8 years in power a as leadership performance that is way below expectation.

Taking to his social media page on Sunday, 21st of May 2023, Daniel Bwala said that people saw President Muhammadu Buhari as the messiah back in 2015 when he won the Presidential election. He added that the President has done opposite to the People’s expectations and that his leadership has made things worse in the country.

The PDP politician said: “When Buhari won the 2015 elections, the expectations were that he was the messiah. Today his administration has made more poor, unemployed, underemployed, unemployable, impoverished and unsecured, whilst few people around him were made more richer alleged corrupt practices.”

President Muhammadu Buhari will be handing over power to the President-elect of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the 29th of May 2023. The outgoing President has come to the end of his tenure after a rigorous 8 years in power.
