The recent comments made by the immediate past governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai has continued to generate condemnations from imminent Nigerians.

It would be recalled that El-Rufai during a meeting with some Muslim clerics in Kaduna state was heard justifying Muslim-Muslim ticket and how they plan to sustain it for 20 years.

Reacting over the development, Chief Edwin Clark, an Elder Statesman from the Niger Delta, described Nasir El-Rufai comments as a big embarrassment.

According to him, comments like that shouldn’t be coming out from somebody that has been benefiting from government since 1999.

He said he does not see any difference between the statements credited to El-Rufai to the one which Nnamdi Kalu is being accused of.

”What else is a treasonable felony? What is the difference between the action of El-Rufai and the offence that Nnamdi Kalu is accused of?” Sun paper quoted Edwin Clark as saying regarding the development.
