A total of 55,74,071 students have registered for Uttar Pradesh Board 10th and 12th examination 2021. This means that next year, a total of 55,74,071 will be included in the class 10th and class 12th examination to be conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education. The UP board had fixed October 16 as the last date to fill the examination form for class 10th and 12th. To this date, 30,03,471 students had registered for high school and 25,70,600 students for intermediate.
Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education Divyakant Shukla had extended the date of filling the form for the 10th – 12th examination from 13 October to 16 October for the third time. Prior to this, the last date for filling the examination form was fixed on 30 September. Till September 30, a total of 55,35,137 students’ examination form was filled.
Number of students increased due to last date
From these figures, it is clear that due to increase in the last date for filling the examination form, 38,934 students have filled more form for 10th-12th. If the last date of filling the examination form was not extended, then these students would have been deprived of the examination.
Let us tell you that in view of the lack of registration due to Corona, the principal of the public representatives and schools had written a letter to the government and the board and requested to extend the last date.
Number less than last year
Despite increasing the deadline thrice, the number of students registering for 10th and 12th was less than last year. This year there was a shortage of 33,047 students from last year. For 2020, 5607118 students had filled the form.
