Omah Lay and Wizkid are two unique Nigerian musicians who are well versed in the Afro-Fusion genre in the Nigerian Music Industry.

Despite having their unique talents, voices, swag, creative ability, one twitter user has tried to compare the two and claims the 23-year-old Omah Lay, who had his international breakthrough in the the music industry in 2020 was better than Wizkid, who has been in the game for more than a decade.

The Twitter user identified as @__MiankindPr shared a post to compare Wizkid and Omah Lay. In his own understanding, although not a professional music critic or analysis, said “Omah Lay’s songs performed better than Wizkid’s songs in 2020.”

In 2020, Omah Lay was internationally accepted as one of the best and artistes who can be given the marathon to run for Nigerian Afro-Fusion as his predecessors like Davido and Burna Boy are doing.

He released a full studio album “Get Layd” in 2020 and his single “Godly” became his biggest hit so far in his career. It was then when the young talent with his sensational voice was finally certified as a professional musician and one of the good. His craft then travelled borders of Nigerian and penetrated into the international market.

He has since then been in the eyes of the public and his fans keep on growing large worldwide every day.

Wizkid on the other hand, is arguably the best artist in the Nigerian Music Industry currently. He has been on top of the game since more than a decade when he became a recognized international artist.

In 2020, he released his fourth studio album “Made In Lagos” and as usual, the album was a hit on it released.

Made In Lagos had songs like Ginger, Reckless, and Longtime which all were international hits.
