Speaking further, Mr Farotimi made it known that it’s upto the judges to decide how they would be remembered by history, stating it clearly that he doesn’t have confidence in them, but it’s upto them to prove him wrong.
The human rights lawyer made this disclosure when he was interviewed on Sahara Reporters TV on Monday afternoon.
He said: “The tribunal must look at the laws passionately, look at the INEC guidelines and then determine whether the man known as Bola Tinubu indeed satisfied the conditions set out to be elected as president.”
In addition, he urged the Presidential Election tribunal to redefine the meaning of justice in the country, stating it clearly that the tribunal has to opportunity to do so now. He went on and made it clear that most Nigerians, including himself have lost faith in the Nigeria judicial system.
