Liverpool ramp up Ugarte efforts

Liverpool have sent scouts to watch Sporting Lisbon midfielder Manuel Ugarte this weekend, according to reports from Portugal. The Portuguese giants face Benfica in a mouth-watering clash on Sunday night, with the Reds set to get a good sense of what the 22-year-old is made of. Ugarte’s agent has already hinted that an exit is on the cards this summer, with Chelsea and Aston Villa also believed to be interested.
