The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, has expressed the desire to work with the newly sworn-in President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu.

This was disclosed in a statement, on Monday, from Biden to Tinubu while felicitating with the new Nigeria President.

The PUNCH reports Tinubu and the Vice President, Kashim Shettima were sworn in by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Kayode Ariwoola.

Katsina State Governor, Mallam Dikko Umar Radda, has said his administration would do its best to improve the lives of victims of insecurity, giving special support to women and girls.

Radda said this during his inaugural address after taking oath of office as the new governor of Katsina state in an elaborate swearing-in ceremony held at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina on Monday.

Daniel Bwala, an aide to the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shettima for taking their oath of office.

Tinubu and Shettima took the oath of office under the guidance of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, at Eagles Square in Abuja.

During his swearing-in, Tinubu vowed to be faithful and bear true allegiance to the constitution of Nigeria.

The National Leader of People with Disabilities of All Progressives Congress, Tolu Bankole, on Monday urged the new President Bola Tinubu to consider appointing PWDs into his cabinet and government agencies.

The appeal comes hours after the former Lagos governor was officially sworn in as 16th president of Nigeria.

The development is also coming in the wake of report by former Secretary of the dissolved APC Presidential Campaign Council, James Faleke, that the president will unveil his cabinet members within 60 days.
