The UAE ban almost ruined my dream wedding – Actress, Rita Dominic
Seasoned Nigerian actress, Rita Dominic, has said that the imposition of ban on Nigerians and other nationalities by the United Arab Emirates’ in October almost ruined her white wedding.
The newly-wedded lady stated this in a post on her Instagram page on Tuesday while thanking family, friends, fans and well-wishers for their show of support.
Dominic said that the reason her dream wedding was almost ruined by the ban was due to the fact that the wedding gown she wanted to get shaped in UAE could not be done.
According to the Nollywood star, her dress designer, Michael Nardi, however, went the extra mile to make sure her wedding gown fit despite the ban.
Rita Dominic wrote; “Thank God for a beautiful weekend full of love and joy. Thank you to #michael5inco for making my dream wedding gown. It was lot of hard work and patience since we were in two different countries.
“The UAE ban almost ruined it all but designer Michael Nardi who you see in this video came to the rescue by going above and beyond to make the necessary alterations and final fittings. So huge hugs to both.
“Thank you to my dream team who worked hard to get me looking good in this gown. Love you all from the bottom of my heart.”
Dominic and Fidelis Anosike, publisher of Daily Times, got married in England over the weekend.
