Emdee Tiamuyu who was speaking with Daddy Freeze, a Nigerian-Romanian broadcaster noted that the problem is that they only had to take what he said in a 25 seconds part of the video which had lasted for 30 minutes.

The Nigerian YouTuber who made this statement pointed out that it is not what they think, as he had an interview with a BBC correspondent, and the particular part which has now been used to criticize him came from a question and a follow up question which they asked him.

He said there were other things he mentioned, and at some point also expressed displeasure and addressed how the British system stresses a lot of Nigerians.

Speaking further, he revealed that he never reported to the British government about Nigerian students using the guise of trying to get education in the United Kingdom to leave Nigeria and stay in the country.

In his words… “Instablog said I reported to British authorities, but that’s not correct. It’s not correct. The media is powerful, and so I gave an interview, and interviews are long, and there are questions they will ask you, you will answer, and there are also follow up questions. So, it was an entire conversation, and everything you have been mentioning about how they stress us, how the British system stresses us, I addressed that in my interview, but the problem now is they took 25 seconds from the 30 minutes interview we had, and this is just the whole explanation to the dragging”

Recall that the United Kingdom had placed restrictions on student visa routes in a bid to cut net migration, and this is coming in the heat of the statement which Emdee Tiamuyu had with BBC on how Nigerian students have used Education as means to get abroad.
