Social Media Bill: Uche Jombo Drags Desmond Elliot, Politicians

Nollywood actress Uche Jombo has joined the list of Nigerian celebrities berating Desmond Elliot and the other politicians who are clamouring for social media regulation.
Taking to the streets of Twitter, Uche stated that these politicians who are now proposing the regulation of the are the same who used the platforms to sell themselves during elections.
Pointing out the All Progressives Party’s mantra for change in 2015, she wrote “The same social media they “USED” to package themselves into power. APC was package here…on twitter with “change”, she tweeted.

In another tweet, Uche Jombo asked the politicians to focus on more important things. “Let them focus on the problems at hand #EndSARS #EndBadGovernmentinNIGERIA #ReformTheNigeriaPolice #empoweringyouth #Lekkitollgate #WhoGaveTheOrder #LekkiMassacre Not #socialmediabill which is exactly what I told Desmond on the phone“, she said.
