Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan is marking her 46th birthday with reflections on her personal journey and prayers for guidance, wisdom, and protection for her family, friends, and constituents.
In a post on Facebook on Tuesday, the senator expressed gratitude to God for the strength and grace that have shaped her life.
She wrote:
“Dear God, as I turn 46 today, I thank You for grace, strength, and growth. Bless my journey ahead with wisdom, courage, and compassion. Keep my family, friends, constituents and all well-wishers safe and may You keep my path aligned with purpose. Amen.”
Akpoti-Uduaghan also highlighted her ongoing efforts to give back to her alma mater, Federal Government College Idoani in Ondo State. Having served as Head Girl in 1997, she facilitated legacy projects aimed at improving the school’s educational infrastructure.
The senator revealed that the projects, expected to be completed next year, include:
-
A 2,000-seat capacity auditorium
-
A 500-seat capacity multipurpose hall
-
10 staff quarters
-
300 solar streetlights
-
A 50,000-litre solar-powered water system
“I’m honored to facilitate these projects, which shall be completed next year by the grace of God,” she said, emphasizing her commitment to enhancing facilities for current and future students.
She stressed that her contributions were driven by gratitude, not politics, reflecting on the formative role FGC Idoani played in shaping her character.
“FGC Idoani nurtured my character, discipline, and leadership; thus, giving back to my alma mater isn’t politics, it’s gratitude,” Akpoti-Uduaghan added.
The senator concluded her message with a note of celebration, sharing her excitement and connection to her community on this special day.
