Renda’s revenue surpasses $1 million before funding round

Renda, a logistics and embedded services company, has crossed the $1 million revenue mark before securing any external funding. According to the firm, this is a milestone for an early-stage African startup.

Renda operates an asset-light, tech-enabled logistics platform serving both enterprises and mobility operators. Through its fulfillment and scale business lines, the company connects businesses to warehousing, last-mile delivery, vehicle maintenance, and embedded financial services, without owning a single warehouse or truck.

“We had surpassed $1 million in revenue before raising external capital. That milestone wasn’t just a financial achievement; it validated our product-market fit, operational model, and the size of the problem we’re solving,” said Ope Onaboye, co-founder and chief executive officer of Renda.

“We focused on real customer problems, monetised early, and scaled sustainably. Now, we’re investing in technology and talent to replicate this success across more emerging markets.”

Renda has supported over 700 businesses across Nigeria and Kenya, including major names in e-commerce, retail, agriculture, and manufacturing, the firm stated.
