Nollywood actress Beverly Naya has shared her thoughts on the cliche used mostly in Nigerian restaurants.
The actress has taken to her Twitter to question Nigerian restaurants why they love using the popular cliche “Do you have a reservation”?

According to Beverly, anytime she visits a restaurant in Nigeria, the first question she is asked is if she has any reservations at their restaurants before giving out a table to be served. She berated these restaurants in Nigeria saying that the restaurants saying they are always ’empty’.
She tweeted, “Nigerian restaurants, and “do you have a reservation?” meanwhile your restaurant is empty lol.”

@sieger: Honestly, it’s not always the fault of the restaurants. They are actually running at a loss while trying to act professionally and honor reservations made by people who most likely wldnt honor them. They don’t deserve to be ridiculed.

@Kenneth: That’s what I thought when I went into this seafood restaurant NOT in Nigeria. They only opened the door for me because they were expecting an African group. Told me they only do reservations. The place was empty but they got me a table. 1 hour later, the place was filled up.
