“Na boys I born no be girls” – Woman brags as father-in-law takes her to see husband’s lands in village (Video)

A Nigerian woman has found herself at the center of a social media storm after posting a video in which she expressed excitement over giving birth to only male children while her father-in-law showed her husband’s land in the village.

The video, which has since gone viral, shows the woman walking with her father-in-law, who proudly showcased her husband’s various plots of land.

@trinanicholas emphasized the perceived importance of married women giving birth to male child.

In the video, @trinanicholas can be seen joyfully accompanying her father-in-law as he proudly displayed different parcels of land belonging to her husband.

She wrote;

“My father-in-law is taking me to see all my husband’s land. Na boys I born for the house no be girls. E no easy to see woman like me o. As a woman without a male child, keep praying harder.”

The video, which was uploaded to TikTok and subsequently shared across various social media platforms, quickly gained traction, attracting both support and condemnation from users.
