It could be recalled that the popular musician made headlines when she started attending interviews wearing just a towel and anytime she is asked for the reason she reveals that she was using it to promote her song.

Revisiting this idea in her recent interview on the popular Ghanaian radio station, Hitz FM, and in her submission, she said;

“The theme of my latest song, Towel, inspired the promotional strategy – doing something crazy – hitting the streets in a towel and going for my interviews in it and stuff.

My promotional strategy for Towel was a major comeback for me. The positive feedback I got from the ‘Towel’ song promotion outweighs the negatives.

I write most of my songs but I am open to having other songwriters write songs for me. I would like to thank all the media houses that have supported me, especially Multimedia.”

Born Felicia Nuna Akosua Tawiah, Feli Nuna is songwriter director and producer. She signed her first record deal as ‘Felly’ with Lynx entertainment in 2012 and released her first official single ‘Ghana Girl Swag’ but disappeared off the scene for personal reasons and later resurfaced in 2015 under Beehyve Entertainment. Under Lynx Entertainment, she released ‘Ghana Girl Swag’ with the hit single “I like am”.

She attended the prestigious Akosombo International School and after her secondary school education, she gained admission into the University of Ghana in 2009 where she studied English, sociology, and psychology. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology.
