A woman in Nigeria has reportedly laid violent hands on herself after battling with depression for some time.
Instablog9ja says Florence Owa, a mother of four reportedly committed suicide in Sapele, Delta State Owa was found dead on Tuesday, January 26, at her home by one of her children.
She allegedly died after consuming a substance believed to be Sniper, a deadly insecticide. According to reporters, the deceased had been sick for some time and was recently discharged from the hospital.
A source also revealed Florence, popularly called Floxy, had been battling depression for a while.
Depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest. Also called a major depressive disorder or clinical depression, it affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems.
