The Nigeria Police Force debunks the viral report of an arrest of the famous singer, Naira Marley and socialite, Sam Larry over the death of Mohbad.
This comes amidst the relentless support from fans of the singer to get justice for the 22-year-old Mohbad suspected to have been a homicide case.
According to Oluniyi Ogundeyi, the spokesperson for the Lagos Annex of the FCID (Force Criminal Investigation Department) in Zone 2, Alagbon, neither Naira Marley nor Sam Larry have been arrested.
This comes contrary to reports of their arrest in connection with the passing of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
“The report is false; it is a lie; no one has been arrested. The police did not arrest Naira Marley or Sam Larry,” Ogundeyi told Punch on Thursday night.
