Manchester United Players Haven’t Been Respecting The Fans Enough – David Beckham

Manchester United legend David Beckham has said that the behaviour of the squad during their postseason tour of Asia has been disappointing.

He recently shared that a lot of things MUFC players have been doing are simply unacceptable.

Speaking during an interview with CBS Sports, Beckham revealed that even though people like to say what footballers do on the pitch is all that matters, it is wrong for MUFC players to misrepresent the badge off it.

According to him, he has been seeing a lot of Manchester United players acting in a wrong manner, and it is very unacceptable to him as a fan of the club.

“I don’t like seeing what’s happening at the club.

It’s true that it’s the pitch that matters, but I see a lot of things that are not acceptable to me as a fan and a lover of Manchester United. You have to represent the badge. I’ve seen a lot of things where players didn’t act in the right way,” he said.

Beckham further noted that the former players clearly understood what representing the badge meant years ago, unlike the current footballers who wear the club’s jersey refuse to respect its loyal fans.

The Inter Miami owner concluded by saying that every fan who spends his or her hard-earned money to watch a football game must be respected for the support and sacrifice.

“We understood what it meant to play for Manchester United. We understood what the badge meant.

Everywhere we travelled, whether in Europe or Asia, we respected the fans. We respected the fact that they came and paid money to see us, to get an autograph or to take pictures. You have to respect that,” he added.
