Man recounts how he trained his girlfriend in school and paid for her flight ticket only for her marry someone else abroad

A man identified as @LensesDontlie on Twitter, has narrated a ‘stupid’ thing he did for love which left him with a broken heart.

The guy revealed that he handled his girlfriend’s tuition throughout her four years in the university and even paid her rent.

He added that when she wanted to travel out of the country, he helped her purchase the flight ticket, however, when she got to the foreign country, she fell in love with someone else.

According @LensesDontlie, his ex-girlfriend is now happily married to the guy she met abroad.

He wrote; ”We’ve all done stupid things for people we loved. It’s nothing to be ashamed about. I paid school fees for 4 years for a lady, paid her rent and paid her air ticket to the country where she found the love of her life. They are happily married.”
