Man gives his ATM card to his girlfriend only for her to buy N650k hair

A Nigerian lady has revealed how she got into a heated fight with her boyfriend after using his ATM card to buy hair which cost N650,000.

She said that she stopped him from buying things for her because he only purchases cheap items.

However, whenever she buys him something, like a N6k slippers he would refuse to wear it because it is costly.

She said drama started after she saw a wig she liked and told him she wanted to buy hair, so he gave his ATM card and his pin to her.

The lady checked his account balance and saw over N1.8million in it, so she decided to use N650k to buy the wig of her choice.

Immediately he saw the debit alert, he called her phone and started shouting at her even before she got home.

According to her, he vowed that if she does not refund the exact sum, she will never get any money from him again.

She shared her story on social media in a bid to get people’s opinion on whether what she did was wrong.

She said; “I will be brief. I told my boyfriend to stop buying stuffs for me cos he only goes for cheap ones. If I buy him slippers of 6k. He won’t wear it. He will be complaining that it’s too costly.

He stopped buying me things for 2years. I told him I will like to buy hair. I saw one hair I liked when I went for pedicure. He gave me his ATM.

I checked d account balance and it was 1,849,000. I decided to buy hair worth 650,000. Immediately my boyfriend got d alert. He didn’t even wait till I come home.

He was just shouting at me. I even felt embarrassed cos i know his neighbors will be hearing him. He told me if I don’t return this hair, I will never get a kobo from him again. Please guys. Is 650k too big to spend on the girl you love? Cos I feel he’s overreacting. If I dress fine, he will be done praising me.”
