Speaking in a Twitter Space with Ghana Weekend’s Olele Salvador, the artist who claims has never charged for a feature disclosed that looking at how bad the economy is, he has decided to charge for features.

“You can ask all artists who have featured me on their songs. I’ve never charged or taken a dime from them. I didn’t say I will not charge for features oo. I have never done that before but right now looking at how the economy is going, ‘asesa’ (things have changed).

Kidi further explained that although he never charged artists for features, he always owns rights to the revenue that is gotten from the songs as stated by the copyright laws.

Kidi has featured in songs of artists like Obibini, Adina, Cina Soul, Kuame Eugene, Kwasi Arthur, and many others.
