Kim Jerry Bot wins 2025 May & Baker professional service award in pharmacy

Kim Jerry Bot, managing director and chief executive officer of KIMKY Pharmaceuticals and Enterprises, and director general/chief executive officer of the Plateau State and Medical Commodities Management Agency (PS-DMCMA), is the winner of the 2025 May & Baker Professional Service Award in Pharmacy.

Bot became the first recipient to receive the award since it increased from N1 million to N1.5 million by May & Baker’s managing director and CEO, Patrick Ajah, “in recognition of his outstanding and innovative contributions to pharmaceutical sciences and research in Nigeria.” He emerged as the winner ahead of several other distinguished professionals, underscoring the leap the pharmaceutical sector has taken in recent years.

Praising May & Baker for their consistency in supporting growth and rewarding excellence through this initiative, he reaffirmed his “strong motivation to sustain his commitment to excellence and innovation in his profession.”

The award presentation took place during the 98th Annual National Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) held recently in Kano.

Instituted in 2005, the May & Baker Professional Service Award in Pharmacy celebrates outstanding achievements and contributions by practitioners, public servants, industry leaders, and academicians/researchers in the study and practice of pharmacy in Nigeria. Over the years, it has become one of the most prestigious honors in the nation’s pharmaceutical landscape, reinforcing May & Baker’s vision of promoting excellence and ethical practice in the profession.
