Just Come And Apologize To Ghanaians – Actress Lydia Forson Tells NPP Gov’t

Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson has taken to her page on Twitter to urge the ruling government, NPP to render an unqualified apology to Ghanaians.

There has been a lot of brouhahas on social media after the press release from the Ministry of Information was shared online where the president was instructing the finance minister to start a formal conversation with IMF for support.

According to the press release, the president had a conversation with IMF Managing Director Miss Kristalina Georgieva and has agreed to support the decision.

Amidst the brouhaha, actress Lydia Forson has taken to her page to urge the government of the day to apologize to Ghanaians for lying and for selling themselves as the “savior” of the country. She added that this is the step that is necessary to show the kind of honest leadership the country needs.

She tweeted, “NPP should just come and apologize to Ghanaians and admit that they oversold themselves. That’s the kind of honest leadership we need and I’m sure many will respect it. But politics nti, they will continue to play the blame game…”.
