Ghanaian musician, Kaakyire Kwame Fosu who is widely known in showbiz as KK Fosu has made his political ambitions known.

He made this known in a recent interview he had with renowned Ghanaian media personality, Andy Dosty on the popular Ghanaian radio station, Hitz FM.

In the interview, he indicated that he would like to enter into politics adding that he would like to become a parliamentarian when he retires from music.

He added that one of the areas he would be looking at critically when he becomes a parliamentarian is agriculture.

In his submission, he said;

“My political ambition started three years ago. I would like to be in the parliament after my music career. I wouldn’t want to be standing on stage at age 60.

I need to speak for the poor. I want to help my country. I don’t have enough money to construct the road from Mangoase to Adorso.

I think the constituents will vote for me. Since I think about them, why wouldn’t they vote for me? Advocating for my people and demonstrating for them contributes to what the people want to see.

I don’t want to be a president. I just want to be part of the lawmakers. If I made MP, I will make sure I make agriculture attractive to the youth. Then I will focus on entertainment next.

I don’t belong to any political party. I am independent —and I started the Empower Youth Movement.”
