Singer, Fireboy DML has revealed that he has deep respect and admiration for legendary colleague, Wande Coal and how he have had a significant impact on his music career.
In a recent one-on-one at the “Is This Seat Taken” podcast, he stated that his experience with the veteran singer is like a dream come through as he never expected to one day meet someone he holds in high esteem.
In his word:
“It was a dream at first meeting Wande Coal. I become a child when he is around. He is a legend. So that [meeting him] was a blessing and a surreal moment.”
Fireboy credited Wande Coal as a key inspiration for pursuing music, acknowledging the significant role he played in shaping his artistic journey.
Fireboy DML had also honored Wande Coal’s legacy by dedicating a track titled ‘Wande’s Song’ to him on his fourth studio album, ‘Adedamola’.
