Human Rights Lawyer, Inibehe, Reveals What PDP Would Have Done To Challenge APC’s Double Nomination

Inihebe Effiong, who is a public interest and human rights lawyer, has taken to his official Twitter handle to write about what the People’s Democratic Party would have done in a bid to challenge the All Progressives Congress’s double nomination in court. Recall that earlier today, in a statement that was issued by the Cable on their official Twitter handle, “A five-member panel of the Supreme Court held on Friday that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) lacked the locus standi to institute the suit”

The tweet that Inihebe wrote read, “In law, strategy is important and can make nonsense of the substance of a case if not properly considered.”

He continued, “PDP could have persuaded one of the numerous aspirants who participated in the APC primary to challenge Shettima’s double nomination. But it decided to do so on its own”.
