Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, will bring accelerated growth and development to Nigeria.

The 2023 presidential election is to hold in February but ahead of the polls, there is the continuous debate on who is more qualified to be president.

Ganduje, in his speech while accepting an appointment as the patron of the APC National Integrity Movement (ANIM) at the government house in Kano, said that Nigerians are enjoying the democratic system of governance that Tinubu fought for.

He described the former Lagos state governor as a man of integrity and a good product.

Tinubu’s track records and pedigree show that he can propel Nigeria to greatness if elected as president.

“Asiwaju is man of integrity and a good product. He has contributed greatly to the growth and development of our democracy.

He is a consummate democrat and the leader of progressives who fought to bring the democratic rule that Nigerians are enjoying today.”

Similarly, former chairman of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) Enugu state chapter, Dr. Ben Nwoye has boasted that the party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Bola Ahmed Tinubu will garner enough votes from the South-East.

He spoke confidently during the unveiling of a Tinubu-Shettima campaign building by an independent Campaign Group in the state.

According to Nwoye, the APC chieftain will continue the good works of President Buhari, and he added that the current administration had achieved a lot in spite of the security challenges.

Nwoye further noted that the presidency, under the APC, embarked on tremendous infrastructural development in the country, especially in the South-East.

He said; “There is need for continuity and even though there is a problem of security, it should not undermine the achievement of the APC-led government. It was the APC under Buhari that introduced the primary school feeding project.

“We want to ensure that Tinubu/Shettima will get enough votes in the South-East. I advise supporters of other parties that are saying that APC will not campaign in the South-East to bury the idea. We have thousands of supporters that will work for the APC”.
