Glory Be To God That Peter Obi Didn’t Win, If He Had Won Nigeria Would’ve Been In Problem- Akinwale

Mr Tawfiq Akinwale, the Labour Party Governorship Candidate in Oyo State, has thanked God that his party’s presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, didn’t win the just concluded presidential election, noting that Nigeria would have been in a serious trouble if Peter Obi had won the election.

Speaking further, he described the Labour Party presidential candidate as a pretender, a deceit and a bigot, claiming that Peter Obi’s attitude shows how intolerant he is to his fellow countrymen who are Muslims. 

According to Sahara Reporters report, Mr Akinwale made this disclosure during an interview, blaming Peter Obi for the defection of several of the Labour Party governorship candidates, mainly from the North, to other opposition parties.

He said: “All the bigots of this world is Peter Obi because he is not somebody that should be trusted with the leadership of this country. Glory be to God almighty that did not allow him to win the election. If he had won, Nigerians would have been in a serious problem because of his attitude.”

Furthermore, he noted that if he had not spoken about Peter Obi’s attitude before the leaked conversation with Bishop David Oyedepo, people would have said he only linked it to the audio. He made it known that it was two days after he told the world about Obi’s attitude that the audio came out.

In addition, he claimed that during the campaigns, the Governorship Candidate of Sokoto State decamped to APC because when Obi went for campaign, he did not introduce him. He also claimed that Obi also did the same thing to Taraba governorship candidate and his deputy.
